Цели урока: совершенствовать навыки чтения с извлечением необходимой информации и активизировать новую лексику в речи учащихся
Задачи:
- закрепить при помощи стихотворений и рифмовок слова по теме Цветы;
- развитие творческого мышления через чувственно-эмоциональное восприятие;
- воспитывать творческую активность, артистизм.
Оборудование урока: раздаточный материал с вопросами, мультимедийная установка, карточки – цветочный календарь, фотографии цветов.
Ход урока.
Организационный момент.
Good morning, boys and girls. I am glad to see you. Today at the lesson we’ll read a new text to know more about different flowers, take part in the fairy-tale, play games.
Фонетическая зарядка.
(На экране – картинки цветов под номерами, в столбик записаны названия цветов.)
Read the names of the flowers, match the pictures with the names, then match the words with their meanings.
(A daffodil, a honeysuckle, a poppy, a snowdrop, a primrose, a lily, a chrysanthemum , a dandelion, a sunflower)
Речевая разминка.
Answer my questions.
1.What garden flowers do you know?
2.What flowers blossom in spring, summer, autumn?
3.When do snowdrops usually appear?
4.Which flowers have a sweet and pleasant smell?
5.Which flowers don’t smell at all?
6.Which is the smallest flower?
7. Which is the largest one?

Supply the proverbs and sayings about flowers with the missing words. The letters are keys to finding the words.

6. Карнавал цветов.
Let’s go to the flowers’ party. Ученики с фотографиями цветов читают стихи о цветах.
P1 Come, flowers, let us dance.
Let us dance and sing,
As we go round and round
In a merry ring.
P2 THE LITTLE SNOWDROPS
In the heart of a seed, buried deep, so deep!
A LITTLE SNOWDROP lay fast asleep!
“Wake!” said the sunshine, and creep to the light!
“Wake!” said the voice of the raindrops bright.
The little snowdrops heard, and it rose to see
What the wonderful world outside might be.
P3 THE DAFFODILS
Once while walking in the hils,
I saw a lot of golden daffodils,

P4 THE POPPY
High on a bright and sunny bed

A fresh half-open rose is quite lovely,

7. Отгадай загадку в стихах.
Guess the flower.
а) We are pretty flowers you will find in May

8.Заключительная игра.
Let’s play a game “Repeat the name of the flowers”.
All the players sit in the circle. One of the players starts the game. He says, “A lily”. Then the next player goes on, “ A lily, a tulip, a poppy”.
So each player must repeat the names of the flowers that the other players have called out and then add a new one. Anyone who forgets a flower or names the flowers in the wrong order drops out the game.
The last player is the winner
9. Подведение итогов урока.
I think our lesson was useful as you have learnt many new things about different flowers. Now you can easily find a special flower for each season and the colour will help you to imagine this flower.
